like today

Today was a good day. I woke up at 8:30 (sounds horrible I know, but I had actually gotten 7.5 hours of sleep.) I had planned to fix my computer (didn't happen) and read my Epistemology assignment (didn't happen), but I got distracted hemming my pants. This took a very long time. It took so long that I decided to skip said Epistemology class. So I'm hemming, and listening to Rachmaninov. I finish with 10 minutes until class and rush frantically about the room trying to find a shirt to wear with my newly hemmed pants. Then, I remember that Joely (my hot RA) is inspecting the room today for cleanliness, properly taped cords and minimal electric socket usage. So I hide the clothes on the floor under my covers, pull them up, stuff other junk under the bed and take out my trash. I get to class 10 minutes late and find that the professor who gave me exam from hell last week is now letting us challenge all unfair questions. Oh boy, did I ever challenge. I got a 62 on the test, which was the class average, and I'm already guaranteed a 20 point increase due to the marvelous curve from such hellish tests. So during the challenging of the test, I leaned over and said, "Hey Nathan, how was Epistemology?" He looked at me funny and said, "Didn't you know? It was cancelled."

SWEET!

Then I went to Computer Science and then Political Science. Then I laid under my covers and got warm while listening to "Cavanaugh Park" on repeat. Then I had dinner with horrible kisser from a few weeks ago and his friend. His friend is a philosophy major and so we talked philosophy while Jerome pretended to follow and made an ass out of himself. (Ha, I'm really not a philosophy snob, it just makes me happy when cocky people don't know what they're talking about. Then I went to an EQUAL meeting, then to the Gym, where I found that I have lost 7 pounds in the past two months. Yay. (Too bad I feel fatter, but let's pretend I don't.) I also talked to a hot boy that I haven't seen this year. Then, as I was walking back, I ran into this kid from GPhil101, and he's like, "Hey come to this orchestra concert with me." And I did, and I got in for free because it was intermission, and now I'm happily typing as Haydn twirls through my head.

Hooray for today.

P.S. And now my computer works.
