oh at the beginning of the night, i had my entry all planned out: "tonight was a total failure." geez, it was miserable for the first hour and a half ... the boys were late, the bowling alley disappeared, patrick was mad, ht was getting irritated, martha was about to cry and she was accepting all the blame for everything she never did. but then we didn't have socks and that solved everything. we went to ht's, watched grosse pointe blank, at least i watched it. and i had to make everyone shut up, and maybe they were annoyed, but i liked the movie, and patrick said i'll always be his little rodeo star.
